Code Tigers has been established by the students of various colleges and Universities of Techno India Group with the mission to provide a platform for people who are determined to make a difference in the society with the help of their technical skills. Code Tigers gives opportunities to the developers by organizing hackathons, coding competitions and various technical events. Code Tigers aim to create platform where Coders from school, colleges, universities and industries can join hands in solving challenging problems for the society.

What is DECOV 2020 ?

Code Tigers presents DECOV which is the National level developing hackathon. DECOV aims to solve the problems faced by the people due to the COVID-19 crisis. With the help of developers, DECOV aims at making a positive sustainable impact on the lives of common people from various professions and works of life who are struggling in this pandemic.

Rules & Regulations

  • There can be a maximum of 5 members in a Team.
  • A Team will be recognised by the name it selects for itself and with which it registers in the Online Portal of Code Tigers.
  • Problem Statements will be available on the Website as well as the Android Application - DECOV (Available at Google Play Store).
  • Teams should describe their work in a video that may be shared publicly in youtube and the link has to be shared in the Participant's Login profile page on Code Tigers portal.
  • The Mobile / Web Application should be explained in the above mentioned video.
  • Applicants are invited from students of High Schools, Colleges & Universities. A team can select or propose a maximum of 3 Problem statements from three different domains.

 

 

 

Awards & Prizes

  • GRAND PRIZE (JUDGES CHOICE): Rs. 70,000 + Raspberry Pi for each member

  • FOR EACH DOMAIN:

    • First Prize: Rs 30,000 + Google Home Mini for each member.

    • Second Prize: Rs 20,000 + Mi Band 4 for each member.

  • Certificates will be provided after the submission of the project.

 

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  There can be a maximum of 5 members in a Team. A Team will be recognised by the name it selects for itself and with which it registers in the Online Portal of Code Tigers. As the software edition of the Hackathon is Digital Product Development Competition, the majority of the team members MUST be well versed with programming skills.

Notification about selected teams will be put up on our portal and will also be sent to their respective Mail Ids. One may also keep a track of all the latest announcements and updates about the initiative through our Website or the Code Tigers application on Play Store.

                            Click [Register Now]. 
                            Fill the personal details in the Page.
                            Click Next.
                            Enter your College / University Name & Roll No. in the Second Page.
                            Click Next.
                            Enter Team Name.
                            Select Team Size (<= 5)
                            Enter the Problem Codes.
                            If you have selected Innovative Domain, write your Idea here within 200 Characters.
                            Click Register.
                            You will be registered and will get an unique id in your Mail Inbox. KEEP THAT ID SECURELY, DON’T SHARE ANYWHERE.

After registration, you will get an option to Download PPT Template. Download the template by clicking the button. Through that particular template, you have to submit your idea. You can add additional slides but the total slides must not exceed 10. Once, you finish your video and presentation, upload the links in the 2nd Round in the form for 2nd round where you have to submit Your ID (the unique id that you got in mail), Video Lin & PPT Link. Now click submit and you are done with the 2nd Round Registration.

Enter Registration Id, Enter your Source Code link & Demonstration Video link. Click on Submit.
